Vikrant is a Banker turned Consultant with over twenty years of work experience in Financial Markets and Derivatives. He has held leadership positions with top tier banks like Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Soc Gen & Standard Chartered and has worked in India, Middle East and United Kingdom.

Vikrant’s extensive career included both corporate and financial institutions business. He likes taking on new challenges and developing adjacencies around his core competence. As Managing Director Soc Gen, London, he was instrumental in setting up their Islamic Banking product platform; subsequently he took on the challenge of setting up the Financial Institution sales business for Standard Chartered in Sub Saharan Africa.

Vikrant is passionate about ‘sharing skills’. He has conducted various presentations, recruitment pitches, risk management and strategy workshops during his career. His broad engagement ranges from Students to Central Banks and Ministries of Finance.

From his early days, working as a consultant with Arthur Andersen, Vikrant nurtured a desire to be an entrepreneur and independent consultant. He now intends to focus on these and also contribute to the ongoing development of the professional fraternity in his own small way.

Vikrant qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ranked 18th in the merit list) and holds degrees in Commerce and Law. He also cleared all three levels of the  CFA exam.
